This is a lovely soft bamboo velour fabric. It can be used in many ways: nappy outers/inners, clothing, blankets, even home made teddys, to name just a few. Its use is really limitless. Whilst we cannot state that it is organic, its pretty close, with organic cotton fibres and organically grown bamboo fibres.
Not only is bamboo soft to the touch, 4 times more absorbent than cotton, and naturally antibacterial but the fast growth of bamboo and its ability to thrive without the use of pesticides make it more environmentally friendly than cotton.
This velour also contains a tiny amount of polyester in the backing which makes it hard wearing.
