Tips for Travelling with a Newborn Baby

The first thing to consider when travelling is your baby's safety and health. When you are in a vehicle and are seated beside the window, protect your baby from the sun by putting a shade on the window. When you are travelling in your own car, make sure that your baby's car seat is securely and properly installed at the car's back seat.

Always bring products for your baby's first-aid kit such as nappy rash creams, baby medicines for fever, and saline nose drops. Furthermore, make sure to bring your baby's necessities, such as sufficient amount of nappies, bags for dirty nappies, clothes and teething gel. Additionally, take a few of your baby's favourite toy that he can enjoy during travel.

When your baby is drinking formula milk, there are available convenient travel-sized packs of them. Unless you travel somewhere exotic, you do not really have to bring a large tin or jar of formula milk because they can be available in any drugstore or grocery.

When your baby has to sleep in a cot, there are portable ones that you can bring with you during your travel. On the other hand, you can also make a special request for a baby cot in the hotel where you are making your room reservation.

Finally, you should also bring appropriate clothing that your child need in your destination, especially if it has a climate different from what he is used to experience. For interesting woollies of knitted longies, shorties and crocheted skirties that your baby can use in cold places, you can check out the stocks available in Lush Tush online shop.
